We don't just specialise in selling quality seafood!
We source the highest quality products. Much of our fish and shellfish comes from local dayboats here in Lyme Bay and from the wider south-west.
Rod and line caught, hand-dived, static netted, potted and rope grown are all sustainable methods used by day boat fishers and guarantee fresh, fantastic quality fish served up on the slab in our shop.

From Sea to Shore — Freshness You Can Taste


Day-boat fish, just as the name suggests, are caught and brought to shore that very day. When it arrives at the shop from the market first thing in the morning, it means one thing — the fish and shellfish you get are as fresh as it gets, straight from the sea to your plate.

Fresh fish and shellfish are purchased either directly from the local fishers and suppliers or from regional markets.

It's about service and quality!
We Prep
We prepared the fish for you- cleaning, filleting, scaling & skinning. We are happy to prepare any fish, any way you like...but the one of the things you do want to do is scaling.
We also smoke our fish to produce fantastic smoked mackerel and patè, haddock and other local white fish including hickory smoked trout.
And once that's all done...
